Lovely antique solid hallmarked silver hip flask, glass body bound in Crocodile skin with a removable cup also in solid silver. A really usable size to fit a pocket. It holds 3/32 pint / 4 fluid ounces. Made by James Dixon & Sons and carries the Sheffield hallmark with the date letter for 1924. The cap and cup are both hallmarked. Retailers mark to the base for A Davis of 200 Piccadilly in London who were sellers of luxury goods. The top of the flasks glass body is covered in crocodile skin. It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup, which fits snuggle with the flask body. The silver weight of the cup is 39.7 grams. A lovely usable piece. Will be sent in a free gift box.
