Description
A beautifully decorated and exceptional quality, 1930s Dutch red lacquer Chinoiserie cabinet. Being unusual in having overall concave panelled doors and drawers. The top has a moulded cornice above two doors that open to reveal two shelves. In the lower half of the cabinet is a configuration of ten small drawers each with pretty drop pull handles. Standing on legs that create wonderful shapes to the lower half. The scenes depicted throughout are of country life, birds, trees and pagodas typical of the chinoiserie works.
