1930s Eterna 'snail Scale' Jumbo Chronograph

A late 1930s Eterna Chronograph wristwatch. An evenly patinated dial, multiple detailed scales. An outer tachymetre scale to the outer edges, surrounding a split second/minute scale. A fantastic feature on this dial is the central 'snail' scale - a rare find. A 30 minute timer to 3 o'clock and a constant seconds dial to 9 o'clock. Signed Swiss Made to 6 o'clock. An oversized stainless steel case with well shaped lugs, tapering slightly to the ends. A three piece case design with a snap on case back and bezel. Original, or certainly period crown and pushers. Serial numbers stamped to the case back and signed Eterna to the inner. The watch is powered by a 17 jewel Valjoux caliber 22, chronograph mechanism - stamped by Eterna to the plates.
