Description
Here we have a stunning heavy silver, mid 1940's silver sword and shield brooch, most likely made by AH Darby & Sons.
It was assayed in Birmingham in 1947-48, but such was some post-war Assay, there are pieces with barely discernible marks, from others in use at the time, this brooch is one!.
