Description
This is a beautiful sterling silver napkin ring from 1940s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present for a birthday or a Christening.
It was made by H Hayes and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1944.
The napkin ring is made of sterling silver and has a beautifully ornate pattern to the front of it. The Hallmarks and maker’s mark are on the side of the napkin ring. On the front it has Edag engraved in Gothic lettering.

The depth is 3.5cm at the front and 2.5cm at the back. (1 3/8 inches and 1 inch).
It weighs 27.7g.

Beeches Vintage has clarified that the 1944 Sterling Silver Napkin Ring (LA471463) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1944
condition
The silver is shiny with light scratches and a little tarnish. The very top points curve inwards slightly which would help hold a napkin in place inside the ring.
