Description
Lovely Acacia wood and hallmarked silver crook handle walking stick or cane.
The silver was assayed London in as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1947
and makers mark for Harrison & Sons of High Row Darlington.
The cane is one single piece of Acacia wood, steamed and bent to form the crook handle and then ringed to give the effect of bamboo.
Super colour contrast in it's fibrous form.
Plain silver gilt band around the shaft.
The ferrule is original and made polished pale black buffalo horn which blends well with the wood grain.
Perfect strong everyday cane.
