This is a JW Benson of London 9K gold wristwatch. An interestingly styled case by Dennison, with shaped lugs. A 15 jewel caliber R414 movement by Cyma. A two tone silvered dial with gilt Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds, marked 'Shock Resisting'. Birmingham hallmarks for 1949 to the case back inner.
