Description
Scottish sterling silver brooch, either a plaid, kilt or clan brooch, made by Ward Bros, in Scotland, in the 1950s. Open design with an outer rim, engraved with thistles and leaves with a central thistle head with a orange paste stone to mimic cairngorm.
Stamped by the maker with their mark and "sterling silver".
4.2 or 1.75 inch across.
Cleaned for hygienic purposes but not polished, slightly toned.
