Vintage Triple Strand Pearl Necklace with Diamond Clasp, Birmingham 1959 A beautifully elegant vintage triple-strand cultured pearl necklace, completed by a charming diamond-set 9ct white gold clasp and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1959 The necklace comprises three softly graduated strands of beautifully matched cultured pearls. Their creamy ivory colour, delicate pink overtones and attractive lustre give the necklace a wonderfully flattering appearance, while the graduated strands fall gracefully around the neckline. The pearls graduate from approximately 3.8mm to 7.6mm, with the three strands measuring 15", 16¼" and 17½". This carefully balanced arrangement creates a lovely layered effect without feeling heavy or overly formal. The necklace is completed by an elegant navette-shaped clasp crafted in 9ct white gold. Inspired by the geometric designs of the Art Deco period, the clasp is centred with a 3.5mm diamond and further decorated with eight smaller diamonds.
