1954 Omega gold filled wristwatch. A rare two-tone dial, with a champagne 'honeycomb' effect. The outer ring of the dial is an excellent contrast to the slightly more matte centre. Applied gilt hour markers, alternating between Arabic numerals and arrowhead markers. The hours and minutes are indicated by lume filled 'dauphine' hands. An applied gilt Omega logo, with printed script belwo. Signed Swiss Made.
A very well designed gold filled case made by the Star Watch Case Company, a manufacturer who were used by Omega in North America. The main case body is one piece, with shaped lugs and a recessed bezel. Original Omega winding crown. A screw down case back with an inscription. The watch is complete with an Omega stamped 'crystal' .
The watch is powered by a 17 jewel Omega calibre 354 mechanism. Serial numbers date this watch to 1954.
