A beautifully substantial double strand cultured pearl necklace dating to the 1960s, freshly restrung and presented in exceptional condition. This elegant piece is composed of generously sized pearls, each measuring approximately 9mm, displaying a refined silvery-ivory tone with a deep, attractive lustre.
The necklace was professionally restrung in November 2025, with each pearl individually hand-knotted in the traditional manner, ensuring both longevity and graceful drape when worn.
It is finished with an oblong silver clasp, attractively patterned and centred with a single pearl, stamped Silver. The clasp features a secure push fitting together with an additional safety clasp, affording confidence when wear.
The necklace measures 16 inches (40cm) overall, with the two strands measuring approximately 37cm (14.5 inches) and 39cm (15.5 inches). It weighs an impressive 80 grams, giving it a wonderfully luxurious presence.
The necklace is in excellent condition and is presented in the box illustrated.
