A fabulous vintage long graduated cultured pearl necklace, dating from the 1960s and finished with a particularly attractive dark pearl and 18ct gold clasp. The single strand is composed of creamy ivory cultured pearls, graduated from approximately 4.5mm to 8mm. The pearls are well matched in colour and display a lovely lustre, with the larger pearls positioned gracefully at the centre of the necklace. At 25 inches long, the necklace sits elegantly below the neckline and is particularly flattering when worn over a dress, blouse or fine knitwear. Its generous length makes it both comfortable and versatile, while retaining the timeless refinement associated with a traditional graduated pearl necklace. The clasp provides a distinctive finishing touch.
