Description
This is a very pretty Vintage Sterling Silver Sherry Decanter Label from the 1960s. It would be ideal for hanging around the neck of a sherry bottle or a glass decanter.
It comes in a lovely black presentation box, making it a perfect gift for someone who enjoys a glass of sherry.
The decanter or bottle label has a lovely ornate pattern around the edges featuring leaves and shells. In the centre it has ‘Sherry’ engraved with the hallmarks and maker’s marks underneath.
It was made by John Rose and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1969.
It’s in good condition with the silver shiny and a little tarnish in the design to help show the beautiful detailing.
It weighs 13.7g and measures 6.2cm by 4cm (just under 2.5 inches by 1.6 inches).
