1960's Vintage G Plan Swivel Armchair

A great example of the famous G Plan model 62 swivel armchair. Marketed as ‘The most comfortable chair in the world’, it is hard to disagree! This really is exceptionally comfortable. It is also commonly known as ‘The Blofeld chair’, as it is the preferred chair of the James Bond super villain Blofeld. This is upholstered in black vinyl and sits on a rosewood base. The chair swivels smoothly, rocks on a sprung base and rolls on casters. The chair has a very generous seating area, it is supportive and well padded. Fluffy white cat and plans for global domination not included.

The condition is excellent for its age, the vinyl just has a couple of tiny nicks on the very lower front edge beneath the cushion, and on the back side of the upper corner. These have been coloured dark and are barely noticeable at all.
