Description

This is a magnificent, extremely rare and very large vintage executive desk by Gordon Russell. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1960’s. This is a model we have never come across before, it is of superb quality and is a fantastic size. It is beautifully constructed from stunning walnut with lovey brass handles. The colour and grain patterns are absolutely gorgeous, this is also beautifully finished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item. The back has a generous overhang, so this can also be used used as a partners desk. The drawers all have solid wood internal construction and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is amazing throughout. the original Gordon Russell makers label is stills seen beneath the top.
