Description
A 1970s Certina wristwatch. A well designed dial, with contrasting stripes creating a shuttered effect. Signed to the dial 'Certina' and 'Swiss Made' in a contrasting white. Quarter hour numerals of a minimalist design, indicated by thin white 'stick' hands.
A very unusual octagonal design, with stepped bezels resembling a pyramid style. A highly polished finish, to the chromed case body. A stainless steel snap on case back. Original shaped 'crystal'.
The watch is powered by a 17 jewel Swiss made manual wind caliber 040 mechanism. Circa 1970s.
