1990s Christian Dior Monographed Earrings

We have for sale the perfect gift, a lovely pair of Christian Dior gold plated Christian Dior CD monogram clip-on earrings dating to somewhere around 1990. These stylish and very fashionable Christian Dior earrings are of an oblong gold plated form, with each earring decorated with a large bold CD monogram. The earring backs are signed Dior© indicating that they were manufactured in the 1990s when the company changed its logo from Chr.Dior to Dior. Christian Dior Jewellery in this period was manufactured by Henkel and Grossé. Henkel and Grossé acquired the licence to manufacture and distribute Jewellery for Christian Dior in 1955. This agreement continued right up until 2005, during this time Grossé produced the majority of the Dior Jewellery. Post 2005, Christian Dior took over the Henkel and Grossé factory which became Les Ateliers Bijoux GmbH in Pforzheim where Dior continued to manufacture their jewellery. The earrings are 0.95 inches (2.4cm) long and 0.67 inches (1.7cm) wide in and are in a very good condition with the surface wear one would expect from a 35 year old pair of well looked after Christian Dior earrings.
