A 19th C. European Painted Child's High Chair. With the outer colour being dark green and the interior a vibrant red it has beautiful hand painted decoration in the style of Roosje Hindeloopen.
The inside of the door has two racks which would have held feeding spoons, rattles etc. and the seat lifts off revealing a small storage area in which to store a chamber pot. It has a "safety" bar which comes out and a shaped carry handle each side.
In original condition with age related signs of wear etc.
