19th C. Pair of Ornate Champleve Candlesticks with Onyx and Gilt Bronze

This very attractive and ornate pair of French candle sticks feature a lovely large shaped base with a thin gilt bronze rod that supports a champleve detailed cup. The middle has a flattened round onyx decoration and a champleve trimmed disc shaped plate under the cup. The colour palette is a rich blue, pink and cream pattern, and the bases are supported with three ball feet. This set would make a wonderful decorative accent piece to many different rooms and settings, both contemporary and traditional. Origin: French, C. 1890 Condition: Excellent Dimensions: 12 cms Wide and Deep, and 20 cms in height.
