19th Century Camphor Wood Marine / Campaign Chest with Double Locks

Superb 19th century marine or campaign chest in camphor wood with its double locks. Double lock chests are the rarest. English navy chest with its brass fittings and protection typical of this style of furniture and its carrying handles on the side. Very beautiful flame in the wood and in camphor wood. Camphor wood is resistant to woodworm, so it was used at the time on navy and marine ships. Camphor wood with a superb flame and all sides in one piece.
