Delightful detailing was used when someone created and built this very nice 19th century pine cabinet. What I find so nice on this humble piece of Victorian furniture is the exquisite carving to the front feet the chamfered columns and the half round beading leading up to the scroll carved corbels. Creating a very unique and interesting cabinet. What makes this very special is the beautiful shaped bow fronted hinged top and concave shape to the side of the top. Can only think this was commissioned for a particular job. So, the craftsman went the extra mile and designed something very special. Add in the warm age to the timber and how well it has been looked after, you have a very nice piece from when Queen Victoria reigned between 1837 & 1901. What a nice piece of history to own.
