This is a good Chinese gilded bronze figure of a Kylin cast in the Ming tradition in a most imposing stance. The piece is a substantial size and has great character. It retains a lot of is original gilding and a lovely antique patina. This is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration and dates from around 1880.
