This 19th Century compact mahogany chest of drawers has a surprisingly generous amount of storage space, whilst being relatively small in size. With the added benefit of decorative boxwood and ebony line detail that work so well with the rich warm hue of the Mahogany.
Standing on very elegant feet, that adds a nice level of sophistication to a well-drawn straightforward design. The four smooth running drawers have a brass plate handle to them and are veneered to the fronts with well-chosen flame mahogany, displaying a much sort after ‘Rat Tail’ to the figuring.
Presented in restored condition, this chest of drawers would add useful storage in so many areas of the home, in a very stylish way. The simple well-executed design means it would work well in both a traditional or more contemporary home décor.
