19th Century Dresden Porcelain Potpourri Lidded Bowl, with a rounded, lobed form with a domed lid, and a scalloped rim and handle with applied floral elements (leaves and a berry). There is a green handle with a red berry finial and applied leaves. The bowl itself is adorned with hand-painted naturalistic scenes, including birds, insects (butterflies, bees, beetles), and foliage. There is gold trim around the rim of both the jar and lid. The surface of the bow has a subtle basket weave or reticulated texture. The base has the Dresden mark without the country of manufacture, which was typically used between 1880 -1902.
