19THC English Longcase Clock in Mahogany Case Silver Dial 5 Pillar 8-Day Signed Polhill and Newman-Lewes Fine English longcase clock Wonderful silver dial Large subsidiary dials Mahogany case Sought after 5 pillar movement Strike silent feature 8-Day movement Working catch on the trunk 12 Inch square dial Movement circa 1730 case is later Working order Measures 216cm high with handle up by 45cm wide & 23cm deep dial is 30cm in diameter Classic case design with 3 eagle ball finials wonderful mahogany wood. The large silver regulator style dial with strike silent feature sought after 5 pillar movement. The clock is 8-Day duration bell striking calendar and seconds feature. Good condition for age, showing slight signs of age, I think the bottom plinth has been lost please view the many photos make sure happy.
