Description
A superb pair of 19th Century French Calvary officers leather, high riding boots. In Wonderfull original condition, and colour, having a deep rich patination. The soles having an unusual studded hobnail configuration, with makers initials PS. The original pull straps for both boots are still in place. Cross hatching inscribed into the leather, of the back half of the boots, was to maintain grip for the rider.
