19th Century Highly Carved Center Table

This is a superb quality 19th Century Burmese antique padauk carved center table, the base profusely carved all over with leaves, flowers and pineapples, the platform base supported by four elephants, the top having a wonderfully carved frieze depicting temples, birds, animals, tree’s and various foliage, as if telling an ancient story, below the top is a profusely carved apron, the carving on the whole table is very well executed and is of a very high quality.
