A late 19th-century French Louis XVI style carved white painted bergère armchair. The carved painted frame features a shaped crest rail flanked by carved finials above the upholstered back, elbow rests, and seat, with scrolling arms. It is supported on turned stop-fluted tapering legs. Upholstered in a sumptuous square-patterned quality fabric in yellow with blue lines.
