19th Century Style, Extremely Comfortable & Timeless This classic oak and elm armchair is a timeless piece of craftsmanship. The rake angle of the back is probably the best I have sat in for a while, while the majority are always comfortable, this chair seems to cuddle you in so you just relax immediately. Combined with an unusually wide seat that allows you to move and not feel penned in it is a real bonus. Perfect for a larger framed human! The arms are so well made, jointed to the main back upright, they flow and taper downwards creating a dip in the middle and rise to the scroll ends. The shape is so organic, who ever made this chair had two aims; one the create a beautiful designed shape, and the other, pure unadulterated comfort in mind. Top marks on both counts! Check out the tiny ringed detail on the spindles, so nice, the full grain on the saddle seat and the wonderful character on the front legs.
