19th Century Pine Cupboard with Single Drawer

Nice example of a pine pot cupboard or better still a very nice bedside cupboard. What I like about this cupboard is the long legs. Look very closely and the door is trimmed with delicious dark hardwood beading, resembling faux bamboo, such a charming detail not seen before. The whole piece is made from solid old pine, you can normally tell this by the raised and fielded panels on the inside, leaving flat panel visible on the outside, nice touch of quality from the 1800's. Has the original hinges and door catches. the door catch is a great sprung design and works very well. Right hand hinged and the drawer has dovetail joints. The wood is full of character and warmth, all round a very good example. Period: 1800's Victorian Period Materials: Pine, Brass, Porcelain & Hard Wood
