19th Century Rosewood Side Chair

This is a 19th Century antique rosewood side chair with its original needlework upholstery back and seat, The shaped back with scrolling carved pediment, raised on turned legs and castor. This chairs has had its joints reglued and the now cleaned original needlework seating has been reinforced with hessian, stitched into a new wine velvet, and trimmed of with an appropriate braiding.
