Description
A characterful seamans chest from the 19th century. With steel strappings to give strong protection and probably restored and sign written in the 1970's/80's. The side handles are later replacements other than that the trunk is pretty original. The gilt sign writing gives reference to seaman Isaac Hind 1835. A great decorative piece whilst giving storage at the same time.
