19th Century Walnut Lady’s Writing Table

A pretty 19th century walnut veneered writing table, this is ornately decorated and will look equally lovely in a small study or a grand room. - Brass gallery rail and ornate mouldings throughout. - 5 small drawers above. - Shaped gilt tooled leather writing surface inlaid into the desk top. - Beautiful figured walnut veneers, with crossbanding throughout. - Faux drawer fronts either side of the main desk drawer, which opens from the bottom. - Decorative oval panel painted with flowers to the main drawer front. - Cabriole legs. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
