The convex brooch setting is ornamented with a pierced decorated trellis design. The antique brooch is ornamented with forty-six impressive individually claw set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 2.06cts. The diamond brooch secures to the reverse with a double hinged pin and clasp. This symmetrical brooch is hallmarked to the side of the setting with the French mark for 18ct gold (eagle's head), in addition to the French import mark (owl) to each pin. This impressive antique yellow gold and diamond brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
