Stunning fine and impressive antique 3.42 carat diamond and platinum cluster style dress ring; part of our antique cluster engagement rings collection. This stunning, fine and impressive cluster engagement ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated setting is ornamented with a stunning central feature claw set 2.37ct Old European round cut diamond. The feature diamond is encircled with twelve further claw-set Old European round cut diamonds, totalling 1.05ct. The elevated, pierced decorated shoulders integrate with the main setting and meld seamlessly with the plain shank. The 1920s ring is hallmarked to the interior shank with the platinum mark (Plat). This impressive engagement ring is supplied with an Idgl diamond grading report certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an Idgl diamond grading report card for the supporting diamonds. Such original cluster rings from this period, set with a large feature diamond, are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. This stunning antique ring is excellent quality, set with a stunning feature diamond; the diamond is clarity graded at SI2 due to small minor inclusions, the feature diamond shows stunning white colour, brilliance and presence. The impressive supporting diamonds display a fine white colour, brilliance and presence. The ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition. The hallmark to the interior of the shank is clear in keeping with age and location. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this stunning over 3 carat diamond cluster ring in platinum.
