This is a stunning, fine and impressive antique 1920's 4.27 carat diamond and platinum Art Deco lapel brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond lapel brooch has been crafted in platinum. The geometric shaped frame of this Art Deco brooch features an elongated hexagonal design to the lower portion embellished with fifty-seven Dutch cut diamonds, accented with pierced decorated collar designs to the medial corners incorporating a further thirty-two diamonds. This angular setting is further ornamented with an semi-circular motif anchoring a central Art Deco style tiered design, ornamented with three Old European cut diamonds to the centre and twenty eight-cut diamonds to the surrounding setting. This impressive array is suspended from four pierced decorated geometric, symmetrical knopped links incorporating twenty four diamonds, in a combination of Old European and eight cut. These linear vertical supports conjoin to an impressive arched bracket design to the apex of the brooch, bearing a feature 0.40ct and 0.42ct marquise cut diamond to the terminals. The frame to the upper portion is further embellished with a layered design including twenty-eight Old European cut diamonds, completing the design. This substantial and intricate brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp to the upper border. This Art Deco diamond lapel brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive brooch is supplied with two independent diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
