Description

6 matching, a set of 6, sterling silver antique dessert spoons, Georgian, assayed and hallmarked in Dublin in 1817 the maker would be Richard Sawyer. Shell pattern front and back, with makers mark is R S. Each piece is engraved with a Dragons head facing left, just below the shell pattern to the front handle. Some spoons have been used more than others and show more wear. I do have a matching set of teaspoons exact in all details except for size and weight, with no makers mark and they are listed next. I will do a discount on the 2 sets.

measurements

Each spoon is 17cm or 6.75 inch, the bowl is largish and thin at near enough 2.5 inch or 6.2cm and 3.5cm or just short of 1.5 inch. Heavy and solid at 318 gram or 10.2 oz Troy.
