9.32ct Peridot & Seed Pearl, 15ct Yellow Gold Necklace - Antique c.1890

This stunning antique peridot pendant has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold. The symmetrical, sinuous design is ornamented with a feature mixed square cut peridot millegrain decorated collet set to the centre of the frame. The central gemstone is encompassed with a scrolling leaf decorated setting embellished with thirty-four impressive seed pearls. A second feature collet set mixed trapezoid cut peridot drop suspends from a seed pearl decorated foliated setting accented with a paired leaf design to the lower portion. The apex of the antique necklace features a mixed lozenge cut peridot, supporting two chains conjoining with the feature setting. The necklace is attached to a 15" 15ct yellow gold trace chain via two ring loops to either side of the feature setting. The necklace is hallmarked to the reverse with the clasp for 15ct gold (15) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold. This antique gemstone pendant is supplied with an Idgl gemstone grading report card. The pendant is fitted to the original and impressive hinged presentation box with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. The interior of the cover bears the retailer's mark 'Jewellers & Silversmiths Bramwell & Sons, 98 Fishergate, Preston'.
