A fine and charming 19th Century Petit Point Needlework Panel depicting a Pastoral Scene The needlework depicting a seated trumpeter, accompanied by his sleeping dog, playing before a male onlooker, surrounded by Cattle and a herd of sheep, beside a raft of ducks. The ruined castle in the distance overlooking the valley in which the scene has been set. The tapestry retains good colour, and its a particularly nice piece. The frame has losses to it, as can be seen in the images, although I find this rather attractive. Panel Height - 39.5cm Panel Width - 62cm Frame Height - 50.5cm Frame Width - 74cm
