Description
A good quality French faux tortoise shell mantel clock. Red ground to the case with shaped sides. Rococo gilt bronze case mounts and surmounted by an urn. An enamel dial with raised Roman numeral sections and blued steel hands.
An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1895.
Height 18" / 46cms Width 9" / 23 cms Depth 5 1/2" / 16cms.
