Description
A late Victorian fusee dial wall clock. A 12" painted dial signed 'J.C. Ralls Clevedon' with blued steel hands. An oak case with a brass bezel surround. An 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism. Circa 1895.
J.C. Ralls of Clevedon is listed in A.J. Moores 'Somerset Clockmakers' book as working at 23, Old Church Road from 1894-97.
Height/Width 15" / 38cms Depth 6 " / 16 cms.
