An absolutely stunning well-preserved Medieval Signet / Fealty ring. Crafted from mined silver in the 17th Century. Beautifully detailed this is sure to bring a smile to your face. Dates to the 17th Century, most likely Charles I or II reign. UK found (Mercia region) Hand made signet fealty ring featuring Celtic designs and a central gemstone. Gemstone: Emerald cut cabochon of smooth Carnelian You can just feel the history in this ring, very hard to come by and of Museum quality. Good wearable condition, has been cleaned and polished. Width across front is 15.5 mm. Depth of front and setting is 6.2 mm. Width at back is 3.5mm. UK Size is O US size is 7.25 Resizable by an expert jeweller (I do not resize without measuring the finger myself) Nice and sturdy and chunky. Pricing an item like this is very difficult as it is irreplaceable. You could easily pay over £1,000 but in all honesty I just want to pass some of these treasures on and am only looking to make my money back (many 1000s invested over the years lol) Purchase price includes worldwide tracked and insured postage - USA will vary due to tariff changes. I do not use professional photographers (you'd just have to pay more if I did) and do not photoshop or enhance pictures in any way. I simply take macro pictures in a homemade lightbox to provide the most honest portrayal possible. I clean lightly before snapping but do not polish to "as new" though this can obviously be done. It is only my opinion but I feel antique items that are polished too much lose some of the character.
