Antique 0.48ct Sapphire & 0.09ct Diamond, 15k Yellow Gold Pendant c.1910

A fine and impressive antique Edwardian 0.48 carat sapphire and 0.09 carat diamond, 15 karat yellow gold pendant; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewellery collections. This fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 15k yellow gold. The drop style pendant displays a feature round faceted cut blue sapphire, collet set to the nadir of the design and encompassed with an interlacing wirework halo. The halo terminal of this Edwardian pendant suspends from an articulated linear drop, ornamented with a collet set Old European round cut diamond amidst a lozenge-shaped frame. The apex of the linear drop features a second collet set round faceted cut sapphire accented with a plain circular frame, completing the design. The pendant suspends from a 16.4' yellow gold chain, securing to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt style fastening. This impressive Edwardian sapphire pendant necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 karat gold. This sapphire and diamond pendant is supplied with an Idgl diamond and gemstone grading report card. The drop necklace is are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
