Description
A stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.61 carat emerald and 1.45 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold and platinum set ring; part of our 1920s jewellery collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique emerald and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k white gold with a platinum setting. The pierced decorated, circular-shaped setting is ornamented with a stunning feature central collet set 0.70ct Old European cut diamond. The feature diamond is flanked to either side with a stunning collet set emerald cut emerald, totalling 0.61ct. The upper and lower portions of the ring bear pavé set Old European cut diamonds, conjoining with the emeralds via a graduating swirl design bearing eight eight-cut diamonds, completing the design. The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. This 1920s emerald ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold and platinum. This impressive ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. This 1920s emerald and diamond ring in white gold epitomises Art Deco era refinement, functioning as a definitive commemorative token for personal milestones and a historically significant acquisition for a curated collection. 'Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics.' The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
