Stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.78 carat sapphire and 0.29 carat diamond, platinum dress ring; part of our diverse collection of cabochon rings. This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated circular-shaped mount is embellished with a central feature collet set 0.78ct cabochon cut blue sapphire. The sapphire is encircled by six intricately crafted conjoined scrolling designs, ornamented with eighteen pavé set eight-cut diamonds, totalling 0.29ct. The elevated, trifurcating ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. This stunning 1920s sapphire ring with diamonds has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
