This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The scrolling setting displays a central claw set 0.85ct cabochon cut opal. The opal is flanked with a 0.83ct and 0.81ct Old European cut diamonds, each claw set in a horizontal trilogy design. The main setting is further embellished with six pavé set Old European cut diamonds, set in sequence with the main gemstones. The elevated, scroll decorated ring shoulders integrate with the claw settings and blend seamlessly with the plain 18k yellow gold ring shank. This antique opal ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. This impressive opal and diamond ring is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
