Antique 1.00ct Diamond & Platinum Necklace c.1920

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.00 carat diamond and platinum drop pendant necklace; part of our 1920s diamond jewellery collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond drop pendant necklace has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, pear-shaped drop of the pendant is ornamented with a feature collet set 0.14ct Old European round cut diamond, displayed within a circular fenestrated rosette design. The feature diamond is set to the terminal of the articulated drop, embellished further with a trefoil shaped foliate design embellished with three pavé set eight cut diamonds. The diamond drop pendant suspends from two further circular settings, reflecting the aforementioned rosette design, conjoined with collared wirework links. The necklace bears eight further rosette settings, each accented with a graduating sized Old European round cut diamond to the centre, completing the anterior design. The pendant suspends from a platinum chain via two ring loops to the upper borders of the design; the chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This 1920s necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This antique diamond necklace is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
