Antique 1881 Victorian Silver Egg Spoon

This is a beautiful antique sterling silver egg spoon from the 1880s. It would be perfect for using to eat boiled eggs or for serving condiments. It comes in a gift bag and would be a very special present for a Christening, Birthday or Anniversary. The spoon is made of sterling silver and is fiddle pattern shaped which was very popular design in the Victorian era. It has a unusual shape which is ideal for getting boiled eggs out of their shells. It’s smaller than a teaspoon and is similar in size to a coffee spoon. It’s in good condition with the silver shiny and some light scratches commensurate with age. It was made by Wilson and Sharp and it was Hallmarked in 1881 in Glasgow.
