In good antique condition overall with surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The top displays age-related wear, historic shrinkage and old repairs, all of which are typical for a piece of this age and add to its character. Notable repairs are to the front left corner and back edge. There are minor knocks and scuffs around the edges and feet, with general wear throughout commensurate with over two centuries of use. There is evidence of historic woodworm, particularly to the back which has long gone and been treated as a precaution. The drawers and cupboard doors open and close well, and the dresser is solid, sturdy and ready for everyday use. Overall, a lovely example.
