The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 395, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 17,416,661 which dates it back to 1914. This movement was made in a short production run of 21,000 in total. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover with some surface scratching. The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the stem, crown and loop. The case is gold filled and is the J Boss model made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. The case is in nice condition. Engine turned detail to both the front and back of the watch, and the front cover has initials to the central cartouche. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which has a small crack by the hinge although not noticeable to the naked eye but overall it is in nice condition. The signed dial is in nice condition. The watch has ornate gold hands hands. The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL OF OUR PRICES INCLUDE UK & WORLDWIDE POSTAGE. All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch. We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations. Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the red Buy Now button on each listing page.
